We
now have more options to help support your fundraising initiative!
Thank you for your interest in fundraising with Bloomers. Bloomers has been fundraising with schools, churches, community groups and sports groups for 15 years. We are able to serve groups from 20-600 individuals.
We provide full color sheets with photos of our top selling plants along with a brief description of the plant. We normally provide one per seller, with extras available upon request. We can supply the order form as an e-mail attachment or a paper copy. We ask that the fundraising group photocopy as many copies as they require. This allows the fundraiser to customize the top of the order form to suit their needs. Our website has photos of our top selling items, as well as some useful links so our customers can look up detailed information on the plants they are interested in. The following are some of the highlights of our program.
- fundraiser receives approximately 37% of total sales. Bloomers receives approximately 57%. The remainder is taxes.
- taxes are included in the sale price.
- taxes are remitted by Bloomers.
- fundraiser is given an invoice for the material ordered. Taxes are added to that invoice. The price of the material is our wholesale price.
- fundraiser collects all monies, with cheques payable to the fundraiser.
- an invoice can be mailed or e-mailed to the fundraiser, with payment due upon receipt of plants.
- Bloomers will gladly replace any material that is not of the highest quality.
- if a customer is not happy, Bloomers will do all we can to make them happy.
- if a customer does not like what they see, they can get a full refund.
- substitutions are sometimes necessary. We do everything in our power to prevent this, but stuff happens.
- we suggest the plant sale be held in a sheltered area.
- we recommend making identification sheets with the variety name and expected total (number of plants sold) This helps make things go smoothly, as any discrepancy between quantities shipped and quantity expected are quickly identified.
- compiling of orders is the responsibility of the fundraiser. Bloomers would like to receive a final tally from the fundraiser, in early April. We suggest the orders go out before spring break and returned to the fundraiser two weeks later.
- order compilation can be made significantly easier if the fundraiser uses a spreadsheet to tabulate the orders. Bloomers can assist in this regard. We do not have a standard form for this, as many groups like to use their own format.
- we strongly recommend 4 or 5 volunteers on the day of delivery.
- delivery is included in the price.
- Bloomers will assist in ensuring the plants are placed in a manner that will assist the fundraiser in ensuring accurate order filling. We find it best to place the plants in order of the order form. It creates a natural flow for the volunteers.
